Law and jurisdiction

The present general conditions of use and legal notice, as well as the Axelife website, are governed by the provisions of French law.
If an amicable solution cannot be found within a reasonable period of time, any disputes arising from the use of the Axelife site, or from the interpretation and application of the general conditions of use, will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
With the exception of cases where an agreement expressly derogates therefrom, disputes between persons having merchant status shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Commercial Court of Paris, and disputes for which one or more persons do not have merchant status shall be governed by the jurisdictional rules of the French Code of Civil Procedure.
